FindRivals helps any business answer three questions with evidence: who are we really competing with, where do we stand, and what should we do next?
We built it because good competitor analysis should not require an enterprise budget or a consulting team. A café owner, a clinic, a D2C founder, an agency and a SaaS startup all deserve the same clear method: find the right competitors, compare them fairly, and turn the findings into decisions.
What we believe
- Evidence over opinion. Every score should point to something you can check: a review, a price, a listing, a feature page.
- Transparent maths. Our methodology documents every formula. No black-box scores.
- Privacy by default. Your projects stay in your browser unless you export them or use an optional AI feature.
- No fabricated data. We never invent competitor metrics, reviews or rankings. The built-in directory lists only names and official websites; the example project uses fictional businesses and says so.
- Useful for free. The complete workspace and every tool are free during early access. Paid plans, when they launch, will add convenience for heavy users, not lock the core method.
How we write our guides
Our guides are written for business owners and practitioners. Each one explains a method step by step, uses worked examples, links to primary sources for factual claims (for example, the HHI thresholds in the 2023 US Merger Guidelines) and states the method's limits. Guides are reviewed and dated when updated. Examples involving businesses are fictional unless a source is cited. If you spot an error, please contact us; we correct mistakes promptly and note significant changes.
How FindRivals makes money
FindRivals shows advertising on content pages and plans to offer optional paid subscriptions for agencies and heavy users (see pricing). Advertisers do not influence our content, rankings or tool results. We do not sell personal data.
